You are a current full-time undergraduate college student with 1+ years left until graduation.

You attend school within easy driving distance of San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, or Berkeley.

You have at least $8,500 of unmet cost-of-attendance for the remainder of your college time.

You can commit to 6-10 hours/wk during the K-12 school day for the duration of the Fellowship.

You can commit to a 2-day in person preservice training retreat in August 2027 (tentatively August 14th and August 15th).

You are a strong student, with a history of As and Bs in math and science.
Please note that work authorization is not considered; only college enrollment and unmet need are necessary to receive scholarship funding. International students are eligible to apply, but priority is given to applicants with demonstrated financial and social ties to a Bay Area community or California at large.

Application Process
1. Apply by June 30, 2027
Applications are due by June 30, 2027 for this cohort. You can preview the application questions here. Both a current transcript and the financial aid award overview are required for consideration, but may be submitted or updated later via email if not available at the time of submission.
Missed the deadline? Though we cannot guarantee applications will be reviewed after the deadline, we will continue to offer Fellowships in the 2027 cohort to eligible applicants until the cohort is full. Potential applicants are welcome to reach out for updates and guidance.
